This morning we'll leave Split behind and cruise to the northern side of Hvar Island, spending the night in Stari Grad. Feel the part sipping champagne and docking alongside other super yachts in Hvar Town. Although renowned for its celebrity spotting,Hvar still remains authentic to its roots, with its cobbled streets, historic architecture and 7th Century Fortress overlooking thetown. The National Park is famous for its two salt lakes in the north end of the island - Veliko and Malo Jezero - as well as the 12thcentury Benedictine monastery in the middle of Veliko. You can explore this pristine island by kayaking, cycling or walking aroundto where the sea meets the lake.

Cruise Destinations & Ports

Croatia experiences both a coastal and Mediterranean climate, making the pre/post season months of April - May and September - October perfect for exploring and active holidays. The peak summer months of June, July and August are the hottest months and are ideal for travellers looking to swim and soak up the sunshine. Covered in dense woods and punctuated with limestone mountains, a third of Mljet’s surface consists of the Mljet National Park. Visitors can hike or cycle through the park or take a boat ride on one of its two salt-water lakes. The island is also rich with wildlife, including wild boar, hare, and deer, while underwater is grouper and the protected monk seal. Mljet’s coast is dotted with beautiful beaches, including Saplunara, at its southeastern tip, considered one of the best beaches in the region.
