Ultimately, Juanita graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University. Randy was born on February 15, 1973 to the proud parents of Barbara Hayes and Randolph Jr. Cherry Lee Hill was born in Manley, North Carolina to the proud parents of Howard Hill and Etta Fraiser Hill on June 15, 1925. She was third youngest of four girls and one of thirteen siblings. Herbert III attended Alfred E. Beach High School in Savannah, Georgia and joined the United States Army soon after graduation.
Flora last resided in Riverdale, NY and formerly lived in The Bronx. Jean Ragin Carpenter passed away on January 19, 2022 at the age of 86 due to complications from ALS/Lou Gehrigs Disease. The daughter of the late Mapel Windham Suber and the late Wade R. Blackwell Jr., she was born in Union, South Carolina but lived for much of her life in the Bronx. Duane Ivan Todman, Sr. was born on October 19, 1968, in Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas Virgin Islands to Bernice Inez Miller and Donald Elroy Todman Sr who both proceeded him to eternal rest.
Damon attended and graduated from John Adams High School in Queens, NY. Damon was a true New Yorker. Daniel Atherton Sr. affectionately known as the “Slammin’ Drummer” born June 26, 1957 in Harlem, New York. Danny is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Atherton, grandmother Frances Daniels , Grandfather Leopold Atherton, his sisters Sandra and Cynthia Atherton. Esther Murrell was born in Harlem Hospital on December 21, 1926 to Martha Bullock and David Washington.

Patricia Cadel Troupe was born on September 15, 1952, in New York, New York, to her parents late Barbara and Alphonso Young. Patti was called by God, on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. The family moved to the Bronx in 1960 where James continued his education, he then attended Bronx Community College where he proudly earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
Ellen relocated from Savannah Sound and moved in with her older sister, Gwendolyn Styles, to a house on Okra Hill, in Nassau, New Providence Island. She spent the bulk of her time with her older sister, her brother, Arnaud Benson and baby sat for her niece, Stella, with whom she remained close over the years. Charlesetta Wright was born December 19, 1935 to Samuel & Phoebe Wright in Savannah, GA. She attended school in Georgia until graduation. She left Savannah & moved to Maryland in 1935 where she met and married Jerry Jones. From this union two children were born, Cheryl & Terrell.
Upon graduating from college James worked as a supervisor of an all boys group home. Viretta attended Robert L. Van High School and Murfreesboro High school where she received her diploma. With her aunt Doris Demary and then settled in New York City. Viretta earned a certificate with the Visiting Nurse Services of New York City. After graduating, she started a career within the healthcare field. Beatrice “Bea” or “Lil’ B”, Eliza Chavis, was named after her grandmother.
Elvin Waltimore James on August 31, 1937 to the late Celestine and Waltimore James in New York City and departed this life on June 25, 2020 at the Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home after a brief stay. Elvin was one of eleven children, eight boys and three girls. He attended and was educated in the New York public school system. Damon Taj Mack was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 11, 1979 to his proud and loving mother Cherylann Mack.
